2020 Geneseo Music Fest - "Salute to Agriculture
Celebrate Father's Day weekend June 19-21 in Geneseo, IL with the 52nd Anniversary of Geneseo Music Festival, “Salute to Agriculture”.
Entertainment, family activities, food, music, arts & crafts and meeting up with friends and family are just a few of the highlights.
We have exciting events planned for the entire weekend and there is something for everybody!
Many events take place in or around the City Park.
The weekend begins Friday evening with a Doo Dah Parade hosted by the Geneseo Kiwanis Club followed by the Geneseo Rotary Club supper and ice cream social and the Queen Contest in City Park.
Saturday starts with the Maple City 4, a 5k race hosted by Rotary Club. The remainder of the day will be filled with music, fun family activities including inflatables for the kids, food vendors, and an Arts & Crafts fair in the park.
Antique tractors and Vintage Farm Equipment will be on display north of the Band shell.
The evening features a steak/tenderloin meal, multiple band performances with a beer garden.
Sunday, Gen-Air airport invites you to a pancake breakfast, a worship service takes place in the park and the music and fair continue as well.
The Music Fest Parade sponsored by Geneseo Park District with the theme “Summertime Carnival” starting at 1 p.m. takes place on State Street.
The entertainment and Arts & Crafts fair continue at the park following the parade.
Visitors are invited to see the beautiful park, visit our historic downtown, and spend time with friends and family in Geneseo.
