At the heart of the plot is a tight-knit Italian-American family.  Nick Cristano is a 29-year old marketing executive who visits his four grandparents in New Jersey every Sunday for dinner.  One week he has an exciting, though devastating announcement: he’s being promoted to a new position in faraway Seattle. The prospect of losing their beloved grandson calls for some heavy Golden-Ager artillery – perhaps if they introduce him to an eligible girl, he might not go?

Over the River and Through the Woods is a warm-hearted, boisterously funny, and touching story about intergenerational relationships, deep familial love, and the inevitable little heartbreaks that occur as time passes and children grow. Rated PG for mild language.
